A Few Fun Facts….
I love Snapchat filters (obviously).
I love to bake.
Music is always playing at my house, always.
You will also always find me singing along, though you probably don’t want to hear that.
I am an introverted extrovert. It’s a thing, I promise.
At one point I owned 12 pairs of the same pants (different colors).
I like to dress up. And I love to dress down.
I love baths. Long, hot baths, preferably with a bath bomb from Lush.
I love peonies, lilies, hydrangeas, and roses.
I love horror movies, and according to a Buzzfed quiz I would be the lone survivor in a horror movie.
I sadly did not inherit my mother’s love of cleaning.
I would burn fall and Christmas candles all year long if it were socially acceptable.
I wore high heels almost every day in college.
I recently took over this blog so please know that there are older posts that won’t sound like me, but from now on it’s all me! My main goal is to help everyone reading have a better understanding of fashion/trend but also find a way to afford it all! I know that we all wish we had a pocket book big enough to support the dream wardrobe, but it’s not a reality for most of us. Hopefully I will be able to help you on your fashion journey. Please ask me questions, I love being able to help!!
I’m the girl who up until around her senior year of high school/freshmen year of college didn’t really understand fashion. I always knew what I liked but I was never sure how to dress my body and I didn’t understand what looked good on some people didn’t mean it would look good on me. Then I discovered American Eagle which helped me out of the dark ages. At one point I swear to you I was a walking ad for that store. Eventually I slowly discovered the different ways (though the help of my sorority sister’s closets) to mix and match. After college I started managing retail and I was in that industry for about 5.5 years. For the last three years of that I was lucky enough to be with a brand/company which I truly loved their product, Banana Republic. I was their merchandiser so I had to force myself to look outside of what I just thought was good, and started having to look at things from other perspectives as well (this included men’s product!). I somehow was roped into putting together looks for fashion shows, talking about our product/trends/etc on the news more than once. I honestly felt so incredibly lucky to have the opportunity to work with such amazing people who I learned from over the years. I think the highlights of my styling career was working with a local university to help women preparing to graduate prepare for interviews and also styling someone for the Emmys.
Thank you for spending your time with me, my wardrobe, beauty products, my home, my boyfriend who I experiment men’s fashion on, and my love of fashion. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
*All sponsored posts are marked as such with a c/o with the product that was given. I am not a hedge fund manager or part-time oil tycoon on the side, hence the obnoxious ads in annoying places;) But a girls’ gotta buy shoes, ya know? I am trying to write more posts on fabulous looks for less and ways that most of the world (including me) can find really great looks, accessories and makeup without robbing a bank.
