5 Super Easy DIY Hair Masks

February 6, 2013 by Haley 1 Comment

Egg masks- There are half a dozen egg masks out there, each slightly different.  You can mix an egg with plain yogurt or mayonnaise.  My hair was definitely softer, no question.  But also a bit oily for a few days.  Be sure when using an egg mask you rinse it with cold water.  If you use  hot water in the shower, I can’t guarantee you won’t end up with partially cooked egg parts in your locks, which is gross.  Unless of course it is breakfast time, in which it kills 2 birds with one stone. Instead of coconut milk could I use coconut oil? If so, how much should I use?
